There is not a lot to explain in this diagram. If the external memory card is not being read in your Nokia Lumia 520 make sure your memory card is not faulty. If the memory card is okay then you should clean the MMC jack marked with red box in the diagram. If the MMC jacket is in good condition and your are still having this problem then you need to change the MMC IC which is marked with green line.
